Camping has been a mainstay for our family almost year round for the last three years so it was good to get back to it! 7 days ago by beautiful.tribe Having a little wobble tonight about having moved away from the familiar and so far away from so many people we love. But there is much to enjoy about living here in Cornwall and we are gradually putting down roots. I guess the odd wobble is to expected. We had a walk today with a mother and baby we randomly met in the local park the other day, which was a treat not least because they showed us bits of the area we hadn't discovered yet like this corn field.
5 days ago by beautiful.tribe Throwback to a pic from last month. I think she might be just starting to get that sand isn't for eating now. Just in time as she's getting very mobile! Also, this week she went in the Cornish sea! With just a tshirt and a nappy on. I was reluctant as thought she'd find it too cold without a wetsuit but she insisted on sitting in the shallows, full body in water, and absolutely loving it! This child's tougher than I am.
3 days ago by beautiful.tribe We're staying on the boat for the first time this weekend. Last night we moored on this creek near the Helford River. We rowed to shore this morning, checked out some caves, took a walk, picnicked on the rocks and found the most epic rock pool. We'd planned to spend another night over that way but instead took advantage of good winds and are staying in the marina at Mylor tonight. We're learning lots and making some big memories.
