I started Beautiful Tribe in 2010 when I was pregnant with my first child (back then it was called Circus Queen). The plan was to use this space as an opportunity to keep writing while I stepped back from a full-time career in journalism. At the time, I didn’t know what it was going to be about. I just wrote about my pregnancy and parenting experiences, surprised that a community of people began to interact with what I was saying.
As Beautiful Tribe has grown, I’ve had the opportunity to creatively collaborate with brands on exciting campaigns both on the blog and on my social media channels. The blog has now become a place where where likeminded people, often parents, come to read and talk about issues around creative and ethical living, conscious parenting, home education and nature connection.
If you’re interested in collaborating with me, please email email@example.com to request a media pack and to talk more about what you’re looking for. Below is a sample of the types of brand partnerships I’ve worked on. I’m always up for trying something new or helping you to develop ideas that work well for both of us, whether that involves words, photographs or video.
We are an outdoorsy family who love to travel, whether that means exploring beautiful Cornwall where we live or flying overseas. We have a knack for working out what different locations offer families and, naturally, always have our cameras on hand. As a home educating family, we aren’t constrained by term times and take travel as an opportunity to worldschool. 🙂
Beautiful Tribe has seen me work with travel companies like Canopy & Stars, Bluestone as well as Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks, First Great Western, Transun Holidays, Park Resorts, Clickstay, KLM, First Choice, Thomson Flights and Travelodge.
We’re happy campers and love festivals so are pleased to have worked with Valley Fest, The Good Life Experience, the South West Outdoor Festival and HooHaa Festival.
Brilliant days out are highlights on the showreel of family memories and we have enjoyed working with attractions to give other parents of taste of what they can expect from a visit. Attractions we’ve collaborated with include Longleat Safari Park, the National Trust, Bristol’s Wild Place Project and We the Curious.
As a family, we enjoy a range of shared experiences from theatre and live music to read alouds and watching cartoon favourites. Through the blog and my Instagram, I’ve partnered with entertainment brands such as Disney, Bristol Old Vic, Lilliput classical concerts for kids, Wardrobe Theatre, Storytime Magazine, Netflix, POP TV, Warner Bros, Mother’s Milk Books, DC Superhero Girls, Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom and Aardman.
I frequently write about home education, discussing what we’re up to and what learning resources we’re using. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to creatively collaborate with HP, Twinkl, The Year of Engineering, Mathseeds, ASUS, Diddi Dance, National Geographic Kids, Reading Chest, Alphablocks, Abrams & Chronicle Books, Education Umbrella, Frances Lincoln and Penguin Books.
I’m particularly interested in working with brands who are doing something to make the world a better brighter place, whether that’s producing organic clothing, raising money for charity or enabling parents to live more peacefully with their children. A few of the ethical lifestyle brands I’ve worked with include Pinter and Martin, ErgoBaby, Jackson Reece, OrganiCup, Lässig, Makey Mamas, Bristol Green Capital, Bumkins, Bambino Mio, the Association of Reflexologists and KangaWrap.
