Do 15 in 2015 – Get involved in Bristol’s Green Capital Year

A couple of days ago we went to the #Do15 campaign launch at Bristol 2015 Lab. The lab is on the harbourside, two doors down from the Watershed. It’s a public engagement space with lots for families to do one weekends and holiday time weekdays.

We just did a few crafts bits and pieces while there but there’s lots on. Here are the workshops for the rest of the Easter holidays:

Thursday 9 April: Printing workshop with Sophie Rae
Friday 10 April: Easter chicks from Elm Tree Farm, one of Brandon Trust’s Beacon Farms, and a paper cutting workshop with Sarah Dennis
Saturday 11 April: Bee Bristol will be there talking about how to make Bristol a pollinator friendly city
Sunday 12 April: Avon Wildlife Trust will be there sharing lots of wild surprises

The lab is open 10am-6pm during the holidays. It’s an inspiring space to look around.

The #Do15 campaign invites everyone to do something this year to make Bristol a healthier and happier city, in support of Bristol’s year as Europe Green Capital. Want to know why Bristol was chosen? Take a look at the video below.

So the idea with #Do15 is that you sign up to try and make 15 ecologically-friendly changes this year like meal planning so you only buy the food you need or choosing the bus over your car. Sign up here.
